The Frankfurt branch of Pictorion das werk GmbH has moved: since this Monday, the specialists in digital image design have been working in the former Naxos factory opposite the Künstlerhaus Mousonturm.
Here, postproduction uses a total of 1,000 square meters on two floors for services related to processing film and videos. According to the company, a seven-figure sum was invested in conversion and technology. With the arrival of Pictorion das werk, the transformation of the Naxos factory into an “advertising factory” has been completed: the Spot sound studio and the Hakuhodo agency are already based at Waldschmidtstraße 19.
At the branch, more than 30 employees under the direction of Jan Hübel work on enhancing commercials, designing music videos digitally and creating computer-generated images for feature films. The new workplace in Frankfurt’s Ostend district lies at the heart of the agency location in immediate proximity to major agencies such as JWT, McCann-Erickson, Ogilvy & Mather, Publicis and Saatchi & Saatchi. The company was previously based on Schmidtstraße in western Frankfurt for 15 years.
Through its network of branches in Berlin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg and Munich, Pictorion das werk GmbH offers all digital postproduction and image-processing services. The postproduction company is a subsidiary of Pictorion GmbH in Cologne-Hürth, which is headed by media entrepreneur Helmut Breuer.
