Through a plug-in, the 3D freeware Daz Studio is now able to read and output files in Autodesk’s FBX format. Thanks to the import and export options for the popular format, which is increasingly developing into the de facto standard for exchanging 3D data, Daz Studio can now be integrated into existing production pipelines much more easily.
The FBX plug-in is available at the introductry price of around 70 US dollars until April 11 (see website for details). After that, the manufacturer Daz Productions intends to offer the plug-in for just under 100 US dollars.
