For the first time outside the Georg Simon Ohm University of Applied Sciences, the latest edition of the “Ohm-Reel” will be screened on April 21, comprising commercials, music videos and short films by students from Professor Jürgen Schopper’s Film & Animation department.
Through the personal commitment of the university’s chancellor, Margit Plahl, and the willingness of those responsible at Cinecitta’, it had been possible to take the Ohm-Reel to a new level, Schopper explains. He sees this not only as a positive signal from the university toward the Design department, but also as an important boost in motivation for the students.
The “Spring Collection” will be shown in Nuremberg’s largest cinema, Cinecitta’ (cinema auditorium 3, Gewerbemuseumsplatz 3). Professor Schopper is hosting the evening himself. The event begins at 7:30 p.m. and lasts approximately 90 minutes. Admission costs 3.50 euros.
