Pristine is a new complete system for tape-to-film with integrated image restoration. The system consists of 3 components: A DVNR from Digital Vision with Denoiser, Grain and Scratch Removal, a CAP TV Digital Disk Recorder (DVC clip recorder) and a Definity film recorder. CAP TV takes over control of the DVNR.
Digital Film System thus offers a complete system for bringing image data directly from an HD video medium to film via SDI. Image processing in HD or SD takes place in real time and the cleaned footage is stored on CAP TV. An inverse telecine is also possible in real time. From there it can be recorded immediately onto film via Definity.
The combination of CAP TV and DVNR costs 94.800 euros as the SD version and 215.000 euros in the HD version. The Definity film recorder comes in at 180.000 euros.
