Aardman and DreamWorks produced three feature films together: “Chicken Run”, “Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit” and “Flushed Away”. The studios have now ended the partnership early, despite an original agreement covering two further productions.
The limited box-office performance of “Flushed Away”, Aardman’s first fully CG feature, may have contributed to the split. The studios officially said their future plans no longer aligned and that they had separated by mutual agreement.
