kress presents completely new online offering

The specialist media service kress presents itself on the Internet starting immediately with a completely redesigned website.

Archive notice: This article was originally published on July 30, 2007. Links and embedded videos are preserved as part of the historical record.

Big stories are covered in significantly greater detail than before. As far as possible, there are picture galleries, background information, interviews, etc. Smaller reports are sorted compactly by department.

The content at kress.de will be more freely accessible. In future, current stories and reports can once again be read by Anyone. Subscribers, however, continue to receive valuable features exclusively. The extensive archive, background information and additional content such as picture galleries, original documents or interviews remain reserved for subscribers.

Navigation and user guidance were completely revised and are now located directly beneath the page header. The layout becomes more generous, and content can be found more easily.

Proven features of kress.de were revised. Thus, the kressköpfe database with approx. 30,000 people from the media and communications industry presents itself in a new layout with a link to Google Maps and additional content. Dossiers with biographies are successively created for outstanding personalities. In addition, the kressköpfe are linked with the articles from the kress.de archive.

The video database was once again significantly expanded with numerous current and classic TV commercials as well as image films and trailers. Because no longer exclusively TV commercials are shown, the section was renamed Video. The moving-image portal of kress.de can now be found here.

The layout of the new kress.de comes from renowned Hamburg media designer Uwe C. Beyer. The technical implementation was carried out by Peter Wiesa from Düsseldorf.
