Version 4.0 of Quest3D will offer a whole range of new features and remains more than interesting for developers of video games: real-time shadows, special rendering channels for landscapes as well as a weather and atmosphere system. In addition, an integrated tool for creating windows and widgets will be included in future. A special user interface will enable object-oriented work in real time. Pleasant too, that the interface for the proven Physics Engine has been integrated into version 4. In future, the Collada Importer will make it possible to import objects during the application’s run time.

The second international Quest3D conference will take place in Aachen on September 13 and 14. Registration is possible via the manufacturer’s website (www.quest3d-conference.com).
