“Supporting new talent is a central task of the eDIT Filmmaker’s Festival,” said programme director Alexandra Walther. “Through eDIT: eDucation, we therefore offer workshops, talks, and contacts for young people interested in a career in the media industry.”
Experienced film and media professionals will share practical knowledge about the industry’s working conditions, prospects, and qualification routes. eDIT: eDucation is aimed at school pupils, students, newcomers, career changers, trainees, and people beginning their careers.
The recruitment event on Tuesday, 2 October 2007 will let digital film, game, and postproduction companies present vacancies and meet applicants directly. Registered companies include Acht Frankfurt, Crytek, Die Manufaktur, Fiftyeight 3D, Pictorion_Das Werk, Pixomondo, Seed, and Upstart!.
