Boris FX is represented at IBC (stand 7.830) with Boris Continuum Complete 5, a comprehensive plug-in package that can be used to realize video effects of all kinds directly via the timeline of the preferred editing system. The more than 180 filters with 1500 presets include lighting effects, precise keying tools, distortions, 3D DVE, time effects, generators, wipes, motion tracking and more.
New additions in BCC 5 are UpRez, Pan and Zoom, MatchMove, LED, Scanline, Prism, Damaged TV, Turbulence, Noise Map 2, and Color Choke. In addition, improvements have been made to the user interface that optimize the worklflow and make it easier to set parameters.
The BCC 5 product family consists individually of:

• BCC 5 FxPlug for Apple Final Cut Studio 2
• BCC 5 AE for Adobe Creative Suite 3
BCC 5 AE also supports older versions of After Effects, Premiere Pro, and After Effects-compatible applications.
Boris Blue 2 is a standalone 3D compositing application, as well as an Avid AVX plug-in for Windows XP. In contrast to classic 3D programs, Blue is structured so that it is easier for users to get started. Users of Boris products in particular will quickly find their way around, because Blue has the familiar Boris interface.
By exploiting Nvidia GPU performance, Blue provides enough preview speed to edit even complex projects in the presence of customers. During real-time playback of audio, video and effects, parameters can be changed without the speed dropping. Final rendering including antialiasing, motion blur and 3D shadows is also fast and saves time.
