With Ulead VideoStudio 11.5 Plus, Corel presents the update to the award-winning application for video editing and DVD creation. The complete HD solution enables users to edit HD videos, create Blu-ray Discs and produce HD content in the AVCHD format on standard DVDs. After encoding, users can also upload videos directly to YouTube. In addition, it is now possible to create HD videos using the H.264 video format and to import and edit video files in the .TOD format directly. Files in the m2ts format can be imported directly from camcorders. The update now also newly includes the DVD playback software InterVideo WinDVD 8 Silver, which supports the playback of AVCHD-formatted DVDs. Also included in the package is the image and video editing application Corel MediaOne Plus. Users of Ulead VideoStudio 11 Plus can download the update free of charge from November 6, 2007 under.
The recommended retail price for Version 11.5 Plus is 99,- euros (165,- Sfr) including VAT. Ulead VideoStudio 11.5 Plus is likewise available in retail stores from November 6, 2007.
Ulead VideoStudio 11.5 Plus has the following new functions:
Creation of Blu-ray Disc(tm) (BDMV): HD videos can be edited and Blu-ray Discs, including motion menus, created.
Creation of AVCHD discs: Users can create HD content in the AVCHD format on standard DVDs. The discs can be played on Blu-ray players and the Sony(r) PlayStation(r) 3.
Upload directly to YouTube: After encoding, it is possible to upload videos directly from Ulead VideoStudio 11.5 Plus to YouTube.
Encoding in H.264 High Profile (HD): HD videos can be created using the H.264 video format. Encoding for multi-core processors such as the Intel(r) Core(tm) 2 Duo Quad has been optimized.
Importing and editing the device-native JVC HD camcorder format “.TOD”: Users can import and edit video files in the .TOD format directly.
Importing m2ts files: Files in the m2ts format can be imported directly from camcorders (AVCHD disc, hard disk or memory card).
New menus, templates and overlay graphics: Ulead VideoStudio 11.5 Plus contains a whole series of new menus, templates and graphics with over 50 additional elements.
Bonus software included in Version 11.5 Plus:
InterVideo WinDVD 8 Silver: The “Silver” version of the DVD playback software supports playback of AVCHD-formatted DVDs.
Corel MediaOne Plus: The program makes it possible, for example, to create slide shows with photos and video clips as well as design collages, calendars and album pages. DVD Maker is not included.
