PNY Introduces Quadro FX SDI Graphics Systems

PNY’s Quadro SDI range combines the Quadro FX 5600 architecture with functions for professional video production.

Broadcast, video and film professionals can use the new PNY Quadro FX 5600 SDI and Quadro FX 4600 SDI graphics cards for editing, compositing and colour correction.

PNY Quadro SDI cards connect computer graphics and video systems. The new generation of graphics-to-video output solutions is designed to make real-time rendering part of the production workflow. It outputs graphics as uncompressed 8-, 10- or 12-bit SDI in SD, HD or 2K formats, adds genlock support, and increases performance for 2D video compositing, 3D graphics applications and GPU programming.

The systems provide the following functions:

2D video pass-through compositing routes incoming video and performs alpha compositing, luma keying or chroma keying over Quadro-rendered graphics in the outgoing SDI signal.

Frame buffers from 768 MB to 1.5 GB use high-speed memory to provide throughput for interactive visualisation of large models and real-time processing of textures and frames with full-scene antialiasing.

8K texture and render processing supports texturing and rendering of surfaces up to 8K × 8K.

Next-generation vertex and pixel programmability provides higher performance and effects conforming to Shader Model 4.0, with support for OpenGL and DirectX 10 applications.

Ancillary-data support provides a channel for audio, timecode and other information.

The new PNY Quadro SDI systems are available immediately to system integrators, value-added resellers and distributors in Europe and the Middle East.

PNY Technologies is NVIDIA’s exclusive Quadro partner for the Americas, Europe and the Middle East. PNY Quadro products carry a three-year warranty.
