sevenload Wins ‘Red Herring 100 Global Award’

German media company ranks among the world’s leading international technology companies.

sevenload is one of this year’s winners of the Red Herring 100 Global Awards. A total of 1,200 companies from biotechnology, energy and environmental technology, IT, software, internet and media competed for the internationally coveted award for innovative technology companies. sevenload’s business model and international strategy convinced the jury of globally recognized investment experts last Friday in San Diego, USA. Among all participating technology providers, media company sevenload emerged as one of the few German winners and the only video and social-media platform to receive the award.

“We are greatly honored by this award. No other company focused on social media succeeded in the competition. As one of the few award winners from Germany, we have demonstrated the success of our business model internationally,” said Axel Schmiegelow, CEO of sevenload.

Recipients of the Red Herring 100 Global Awards are assessed by an expert jury according to strict criteria including business model, technology, management and market success.
