OpenMedia 4More expands OpenMedia with video and asset-management tools covering the workflow from ingest and selection to editing and distribution, whether sources are feeds, files, or tapes.
Templates and a central database simplify recurring recording tasks. Once material is ingested into the Omneon video server, a low-bit-rate copy is created and made available to all users. OpenMedia 4More’s viewing tools let newsroom and editing staff search, view, and annotate existing material directly from their workstations.
The editing tools simplify shot selection, voice-over recording, and multitrack audio editing. Resulting versions can be rendered and distributed as finals or transferred to Final Cut Pro for further work.
