Medienboard Managing Director Petra Müller says: “We are very pleased by this addition to the location. The animago AWARD is presented in eleven categories, including Best Advertising Production, Best Mobile Production, Best Interactive Production, Best Game Design, Best Short Film, Best Film Production, Best Visualisation, and Best Virtual Photograph. A jury reviews all submissions and makes a preselection. An audience vote then takes place, in media partnerships including Hobnox, FotoCommunity, MacMagazin, and through the animago website.
Well over 350 registrations from more than 30 countries have already been received for 2009. To enable as many artists as possible to participate, the submission deadline for the animago AWARD 2009 has been extended to 31 July. Participation is open and free of charge.
