The “Best Young Production” category, endowed with 3,000 euros, was awarded for the first time last year: “Trickster” by Alexander Pohl first thrilled the jury and then the audience at the awards ceremony in the FX Center in Babelsberg.

Student short films have been a constant guarantee of great images, emotion and entertainment since the animago AWARD began – including the internet phenomenon of the water shrews, with which Tomer Eshed from the University of Film and Television in Potsdam thrilled audiences in 2008. If you watch the video on YouTube, you will understand this enthusiasm too.
