The 3D-Coat graphics application supports voxel sculpting (an alternative to polygon sculpting), can use layers for painting, includes tools for UV mapping and uses acceleration through CUDA cores.
It also supports PTEX and includes a renderer. 3D-Coat works with 3Dconnexion input devices and runs on Windows, Linux and OSX.
