New functions include support for AJA Io Express I/O interfaces,which means a large number of affordable alternative systems with the AJA interface can be loopd into the Avid system.
NewsCutter now includes “Avid PhraseFind”, a phonetic search intended to accelerate workflow enormously, especially in broadcasting. Media Composer also understnds new formats, including Panasonic’s AVC-Intra, which can also be processed immediately with the Nitris DX AVC-Intra video accelerator. Sony HDCAM SR Lite, now supported natively, is also interesting for the digital workflow.
