The development period lasted a year and a half and produced numerous new functions. Imagineer Systems added, among other things, new rotoscoping tools such as the new transformation tool in the form of a bounding box, as well as more efficient layer management through the use of multilayer functionality. Loading rotos from different artists was also made possible in Version 3. The “Merge Project” function implemented by Imagineer Systems allows easier project management. A new layout called Dopesheet simplifies work with keyframes. A new interface allows rapid adjustments to keyframes in terms of timing and animation. 3D camera tracking for After Effects, Nuke, and other FBX-compatible 3D packages is among the larger updates in the new Version 3.
The Imagineer Systems homepage mentions an offer under which interested buyers of Mocha Pro and Mocha AE who make a purchase before April 15 receive a free update to Version 3.
