According to Weisscam, the basic principle of the T-CAM camera model is a modular design intended to make it possible to create a long-lasting product. By using a SOHA platform, the standard T-CAM with a 2/3-inch CMOS sensor and Full HD resolution at up to 340 frames per second can be replaced by a new 4K sensor in Super 35 format with a resolution of 4096 x 2304 pixels and a frame rate of up to 350 frames per second without buying a new model.
The T-CAM is also offered in a bundle with three 16 ARRI Ultra lenses, although Weisscam announced that data could possibly change before the final release.
