A new feature in KeyShot 3.3 is the so-called Color Selector, with which colors can be assigned from any area of the screen to the color palette using a picker. What will please designers is the newly implemented support for Autodesk Inventor files. According to Luxion, objects from this 3D design program can now also be imported together with their assembly structure, names of individual parts, and coloring.
The key feature par excellence is called KeyShotVR and creates interactive presentations of 3D objects that can be examined interactively on the web. Luxion also says that even display on mobile devices is possible and no plug-in is necessary. Anyone wishing to use the function must purchase this additional add-on for 1,000 dollars. Furthermore, in addition to these three larger features, support for SolidWorks texture coordinates was improved and various bugs were fixed.
