Call for Entries: Stuttgart Festival of Animated Film 2013

Outstanding animated films are once again being sought for the 20th Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film.

On September 18, the submission period begins for animated films produced after October 1, 2011, for one of the following competitions:

  • International Competition (short-film competition)
  • AniMovie (feature-film competition)
  • Young Animation (student-film competition)
  • Tricks for Kids – Short Film and Series (competition for children’s animated films and animated series for children)
  • Cartoons for Teens (competition for short films, series, anime, machinimas, and cut scenes from computer games for young people)

The registration deadline is December 1, 2012.

There is something to celebrate in 2013: The Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film (ITFS) is taking place for the 20th time. And in its anniversary edition, it once again offers directors and production companies a platform to present their films and animation fans an opportunity to marvel at animated short and feature films for six days, meet well-known filmmakers and young talent, and take part in numerous workshops, information events, and presentations.
