This year, the award winners will once again be honoured at Filmpark Babelsberg on Thursday, 24 October 2013, as part of the two-day animago AWARD & CONFERENCE (24 to 25 October).
This year, the best work will be honoured in the following categories:
- Best Short Film
- Best Young Production
(endowed with prize money of 3,000 euros by DIGITAL PRODUCTION) - Best Visualisation
- Best Advertising Production
- Best Trailer/Opener
- Best Character Animation
- Best Game Design
- Best Interactive Production
- Best Postproduction
- Best Still: DIGITAL PRODUCTION Readers’ Award
(joint voting by the expert jury and the audience) - Jury’s Special Award
Participation in the animago AWARD is free and equally worthwhile for professionals and newcomers. Anyone who submits their productions not only faces the vote of the independent expert jury, but also takes the opportunity to present their skills within the industry.
"Around 950 entries were submitted last year, more than half of them from abroad. The competition, which has been firmly established in the digital media industry for years, has greatly expanded its international acceptance in recent years,” says Jana Freund, Project Manager of the animago AWARD & CONFERENCE. “We look forward to numerous exciting submissions in 2013!”
The ceremonial awards presentation will take place on 24 October 2013 in Potsdam-Babelsberg as part of the two-day animago AWARD & CONFERENCE.
