DSX LE3 4K
Matrox presented the DSX LE3 4K card at NAB 2013. The card can output 4K raw material at up to 4096 x 2160 pixels and 60 frames per second. Matrox therefore says it is suitable for all areas where native 4K is used.
Further features include support for the QFHD standard at a native 3840 x 2160 pixels as well as 2K resolution, and the output of HD and SD video streams. Mojito 4K
As announced before NAB, this was not the only card in use. Matrox introduced another 4K card qualified specifically for use with Adobe Premiere Pro.
The Mojito 4K has the same technical features as the DSX LE3 4K card, but should particularly excite editors because it communicates with the Adobe Transmit plug-ins for use with Premiere Pro and SpeedGrade. The card offers WYSIWYG support in After Effects and Photoshop. The Matrox Mojito 4K will be available in May for 1,795 euros. You can find all further information about the Mojito 4K here.
