Pixar Animation Studios’ GPU team explains how real-time visualisation of subdivision survfaces makes artists’ work easier. Speakers will be Bill Polson, Dirk Van Gelder, Manuel Kraemer, Takahito Tejima, David G. Yu and Dale Ruffolo.
OpenSubdiv is a set of open-source libraries that enable high-performance subdivision surface evaluation (subdiv), in parallel on CPU and GPU architectures. The code was developed during years of work at Pixar.
The webinar takes place on Tuesday, 23 April, once from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. and again from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m.
