With the new version, the manufacturer from North Rhine-Westphalia announces new features and improvements. The RenderPal V2 client can now cache scenes locally before they are rendered. Each rendering node receives its own local copy—the original file is used only during the copy process. This can significantly reduce network traffic, which in turn leads to faster render times.
It is also possible to add your own custom fields to net jobs in order to organize them better. In addition, the renderer now supports default values for renderer parameters. These are used when creating a new render set or passing on a job via the command line.
As smaller but no less helpful improvements, Shoran lists things such as Renderer Coloring or Flood Protection for clients and servers so that renderers no longer bombard the server with notifications.
Until the end of October, Shoran Software is granting a 20% discount on RenderPal. The RenderPal V2 Node License now costs only 39.20 euros instead of 49 euros.
