The project strikes the same chord that Freelance Factory already struck specifically for VFX artists (see also DP issue 06/13). On the website, professional screenwriters, well-trained newcomers, or proven writing talents can create a profile and thus establish a digital online interface with potential clients.
Authors can present their genre preferences, format experience, filmography, specialist knowledge, and personal key and contact details. In addition, producers on the client side can advertise projects specifically, and they are forwarded to authors whose profiles match.
There are two annual contract models for authors: with the "Hero’s Journey" model, users can also search for other authors if they are looking for co-authors and pay the membership fee of 130.00 euros in advance. The cheaper trial version is the "Protagonist-" model for 50 euros. Small companies with fewer than five employees pay 180 euros per year for a profile, larger ones 360 euros.
