Last year, more than 1,000 entries from around 60 different countries were submitted to the animago AWARD competition. Since unfortunately only a few can be nominated and only one still receives the animago trophy (in 2015 it was “On the Tramp” by Manuel Peter), we show further submissions on our website and present selected making-ofs in every new issue of DP.
In the seventh part of the animago AWARD still gallery from 2015: still lifes—some with symbolic meaning, some created for aesthetic reasons. You can find the title, the artist’s name, the tools used and the country from which the still originates in the caption when you click the image to enlarge it:
We are celebrating the 20th birthday of the DP event for the first time in Munich at the Gasteig. A discounted early-bird ticket for the event is available here. A normal two-day ticket costs 98 euros, while a student ticket is available for just 58 euros. Various group tickets are also available.
