Feature Overview

Imagineer Systems now offers Mocha VR for sale. Initially, the tool contains all functions also included in Mocha Pro. These include, among other things, the full scope for 2.5D planar tracking, roto and masks, as well as advanced functions such as object removal. With Mocha VR, these functions have now been optimized for 360° material. Here we give you an overview of the features:

Mocha’s planar tracking functions are now also available in a 360° view and a flat rectagonal view. The software handles problems with seams or distorted pixels for you.

Compatibility

Mocha runs on Mac, Windows and Linux. As a multi-host plug-in, it is compatible with Adobe Premiere Pro CC, Adobe After Effects CC, Avid Media Composer, The Foundry’s NUKE and Blackmagic Design Fusion. Incidentally, you can view an overview of the technical specifications and compatibility here.

Costs

The standalone version costs a hefty €1,319; as an upgrade from Mocha Pro 5, it is available from $300. Anyone who pays for the tool as a multi-host plug-in, however, pays “only” €953.53. This way for the link to the shop.
