In this tutorial, Moritz from Entagma shows you how to create procedural snow crystals in Houdini. Moriz refers to a paper by Cliff Reiter to recreate the structure of snow crystals in his own SOP network. Starting with the theoretical basis, he explains the relationships between the individual nodes. In addition, you can follow the node setup in Houdini yourself with the attached .hipnc file.
