Anyone who wants to simplify and optimise complex 3D scenes for VR now has a free option from Google. Seurat has switched to open source and impresses with the result from Blade Runner: Revolution. Seismic used Seurat to break down a scene with around 46.6 million triangles to 307,000. This improved performance by a hundredfold, with almost zero loss of visual quality.
