The script handles setting up the camera data, which in turn is necessary to generate VR images with Google’s VR Seurat system.
According to Rune, the script can be used to set up rendered input data (several animated camera frames) from a 3ds Max scene. Together with a JSON data file, which are then subsequently prepared and ready to go in the Seurat pipeline.

For anyone not yet familiar with Seurat: The tool drastically simplifies scenes in order to prepare elaborate 3D scenes for VR situations.
