Following the latest major Unreal Engine 4.22 update, as well as the presentation of the new “Chaos” physics system, Epic Games also has many attractive free assets on offer in May. The Unreal Marketplace this month includes houseplants, a fully furnished house, PBR materials and more. Here is a brief overview of the hightlights, including download links:
Housplant Pack
This pack by IanRoach contains more than 11 plants, including rosemary, aloe vera, cactus and basil. The assets come with texture resolutions up to 2048px x 2048px and a polygon count between 500 and 13,000. You can find further information as well as the asset-pack download here.
HQ Residential House
With more than 200 individual 3D models and 308 individual textures, HQ Residential House is one of the largest free content offers. Based on a real house, the user “NotLonely” offers the asset textures in resolutions from 512px x 512px to 4096px x 4096px. Alongside PBR compatibility, the download also comes with a fully lit demo scene in Unreal Engine. Go to the download.
Urban Material Pack
A variation of 41 different urban / downtown PBR materials with a resolution of 2048×2048. Alongside Base Color, each includes a Normal Map, Roughness, AO and Height Map. The download is offered by “Plan B Studios.”
