Lockdown is a new plug-in for After Effects that lets you track deforming surfaces in After Effects. In a total of nine steps—including with the help of the integrated point tracking or imported points from Mocha and auto triangulation—changes can subsequently be made in subcompositions.
With these functions, the tool is intended primarily for retouching and other difficult clean-up work. You can watch a detailed guide to the entire workflow here. Anyone who wants to import tracking data from Mocha currently still has to go through a few additional steps.
Price and availability
Lockdown for After Effects (CC 2019+) is now available here on aescripts.com. The plug-in normally costs $249, but until October 12 you can still receive a 20% discount.
