Anyone who recently helped themselves to the Shared Textures library can look forward to the next material library straight away. The new Public Domain Textures website by 3D artist Frederic Hoffmann currently offers more than 150 free PBR textures in 16 categories. Alongside wood, bricks, stone and asphalt, these include food, snow, nature, fabrics and more.
Public Domain CC0 Textures
You can currently download all materials in 1K, 2K or 4K (4096 x 4096 px) resolution and, thanks to the CC0 licence, use them for projects of all kinds. Each file comes in a ZIP folder with the corresponding texture maps: Diffuse, Height, Roughness, AO and Normal Map.

All files are available here for free. Anyone who wants to support the artist and also unlock 8K resolution in future can show their appreciation voluntarily on Patreon.
