Dates, statements and links are preserved from the original.Unity Technologies has released a new plan for students that gives you access to premium functions such as cloud-based collaboration, free resources and more. The additional features include:
- Cloud-based collaboration for group projects with up to five people.
- Premium learning resources with free access to Unity Learn Premium.
- Cloud Build for complex projects with minimal hardware
- Free Asset Packs including the Snaps Prototype Pack.
- Dark Theme UI feature
As soon as the student account is verified, you will receive a coupon code for the Student Asset Pack.
Unity Student Registration
Anyone who is enrolled as a student at a recognised educational institution and is 16 years old can register for the Student Plan free of charge here. After creating (or logging into) a Unity and GitHub account, verification takes place via the GitHub Student Developer Pack. You can find detailed instructions for this here. Anyone who already has a Unity Pro or Plus Subscription and wants to switch to the free Student Plan must actively cancel after registration.
