Wonder Unit released Storyboarder 2.0 with a revised Shot Generator, camera-planning controls, inverse-kinematics posing and multiuser VR. The application was available for Windows, macOS and Linux.

Shot Generator workflow

The Shot Generator received a new interface, inspector tabs and performance work. Shot Explorer exposed camera-position information, while the Shot Type menu selected framing and angle presets. New transform gizmos improved object rotation, and Orbit Camera revolved the view around a selected object.

Posing and collaborative VR

IK controls allowed artists to reposition elbows and knees. The VR mode added multiuser sessions so collaborators could enter the same scene.

Storyboard teams should test project interchange, platform support and VR networking before adopting this archived release in a current pipeline.
