Marmoset Toolbag 4 Released with Ray Tracing and 3D Painting

Marmoset Toolbag 4 introduced a ray-tracing engine, RTX support, 3D texture painting, a customisable interface and a free asset library.

After entering beta in early October, Marmoset Toolbag 4 reached its full release. The real-time rendering suite added a new ray-tracing engine, RTX support, 3D texture-painting tools, a customisable interface and a free asset library for rendering and texturing.

According to the release announcement, the ray-tracing engine was designed around NVIDIA’s RTX GPU range to accelerate rendering.
