Autodesk Flame Update Expands ML Tracking

Workflow Updates

Autodesk expanded Flame’s colour correction, editorial and remote-review workflows. The release included more than 40 user-facing improvements, with machine learning integrated more deeply into the Flame toolset and its camera-tracking workflow.

The updated tracker was designed to produce automatic camera solves and 3D geometry output in minutes. The release also strengthened finishing tools for colour work and editorial, while Network Device Interface support added another route for remote video preview.

Camera Tracking

GMask Tracer gained broader support for tactile colour-control surfaces, including Arc, Element, Wave 2 and Ripple panels. The update also added Blackmagic RAW compatibility.

NDI Preview Streaming

NDI support allowed high-resolution previews to be shared over a local network or the internet using compatible NewTek NDI software. The output could be used with webcasting tools such as OBS Studio and streaming services including YouTube Live, Facebook Live and Twitch.
