One animation brand
Technicolor consolidated three animation businesses—Technicolor Animation Productions, Technicolor Animation and Mikros Animation—under the Mikros Animation brand.
The combined operation was led by Andrea Miloro, who had recently joined Mikros Animation as president. Previously co-president of Fox Animation, Miloro joined to develop Mikros as Technicolor’s principal animation brand. Her earlier production experience also included Blue Sky Studios and Sony Pictures Animation.
At the time, Mikros Animation operated studios in Paris, Montreal, Bangalore, London and Los Angeles. Its portfolio included animated features such as The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run, Asterix: The Secret of the Magic Potion, Asterix: The Mansions of the Gods, Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie and The Little Prince.
