Artlist acquired FXhome, the developer of HitFilm and CamTrackAR, expanding its portfolio into video editing, visual effects and image compositing.
Founded in 2016 as a royalty-free music platform for video creators, Artlist had broadened its services to music and sound effects, stock footage and motion graphics. FXhome, founded in 2001 by independent filmmakers, developed HitFilm for editing and VFX, Ignite visual-effects plugins, Imerge for image editing and compositing, and the iOS production app CamTrackAR.
