das element launched as an offline library and asset-management application tailored to VFX production pipelines.
The software stores source material in an organised folder structure while keeping proxy formats in a database for previewing. Its libraries can catalogue VFX elements alongside textures, reference images, internet clips and matte paintings.
Pipeline-focused safeguards include duplicate-ingest detection, directions to an asset’s storage location and warnings when frames are missing from an image sequence. The application works entirely offline and does not require an internet connection.
