JangaFX reduced the price of EmberGen for independent developers and studios earning less than US$1 million per year from their VFX projects.
The company positioned the change as a way to make its real-time fluid-simulation software more accessible. At the time of publication, a perpetual licence cost US$199.99 and a subscription cost US$19.99 per month.
