In brief: Autodesk released Maya 2022.2.
New features: The Solidify deformer gained a scale control that made it easier to resize selected geometry. Autodesk also improved the Recent Files list on Application Home by adding faster access to each file’s storage location through its contextual menu.
The Script Editor received new settings in the Attribute Editor. In particular, the Save All Script Tabs option stored open script tabs with a file, making sessions easier to restore.
Autodesk also updated the Bifrost and USD plug-ins. USD work benefited from stability and performance improvements as well as better UV and geometry export. Bifrost became more robust and added ways to control simulation parameters with fields or arrays.
