In brief: FreshCan released Northern Island Pack on the Unreal Engine Marketplace. The environment package provided 16 square kilometres of procedurally generated terrain with vegetation, high-resolution photogrammetry and rock formations, using Unreal Engine’s volumetric cloud and water systems.
Package contents: The download included 63 unique meshes, 12 photogrammetry rocks, 41 ground tiles, eight cliff meshes, 54 textures, a customisable volumetric-cloud system, and particle effects for wind and fog. It required Unreal Engine 4.26 or 4.27.
Availability at publication: Northern Island Pack was listed for €54.02 on the Unreal Engine Marketplace. FreshCan’s Marketplace profile contained additional environment assets. Test engine-version compatibility, memory use and landscape performance before production.
