Schneider Digital ran a trade-in programme for the PNY Quadro FX 1000. Customers could return an old 3D graphics card from any manufacturer, regardless of whether it still worked, with no stated limit on quantity.
Board specifications and exchange price
The Quadro FX 1000 included 128 MB of DDR2 memory, AGP 4x or 8x connectivity and two DVI-I outputs. Its trade-in price was €799 rather than the listed €1,198, a reduction of €399.
Schneider Digital shipped replacement cards in advance on invoice. Buyers then had eight days to return the old hardware. The programme was scheduled to end on 18 July 2003.
