According to the manufacturer, the improved Story Timeline can process 3D animation tracks in combination with audio and video data as well as constraints. Separate camera tracks serve to define shots and timing, independently of the respective animation timeline. Expanded functions in the field of keyframe and character
animation are intended to round off the new release. The software is offered for
Windows XP and Mac OS X 10.3 and costs 995 dollars (Standard version) or 4,195 dollars (Pro version).
