PNY Offers Quadro FX 700 Upgrade Programme

Trade in an old graphics card for a Quadro FX 700 priced at €399

PNY Technologies Europe is offering a workstation upgrade programme until 31 July 2005. Customers trading in an old graphics card for a PNY Quadro FX 700 can save up to €100.

The FX 700 is designed for CAD, DCC, scientific visualisation and research. Passive cooling eliminates the fan, which is intended to extend the card’s life and enable quiet operation. The board complies with the AGP 8x specification and carries 128 MB of 256-bit DDR SDRAM. It has DVI-I and VGA outputs and ships with a DVI-I-to-VGA adapter.

A 128-bit floating-point graphics pipeline, 12-bit subpixel precision, and full programmability through OpenGL and Microsoft DirectX 9.0, including HLSL and OpenGL shaders, are intended to provide precise imaging and flexible operation.

PNY’s upgrade offer applies to any existing graphics card until 31 July 2005. Owners can return their old card to a dealer and purchase the upgrade card for €399.
