Because a large part of the Siggraph visitor flow consists of students and young people in training, the organisers was have set up the “Guerilla Studio”: In this hall, every conference visitor can play to their heart’s content with the computers made available there. Software and hardware from every area of the animation and film industry can be found there and tried out under the guidance of trainers and local artists.

The exhibits and example systems include, among others, a fully functional motion capture system, a sound studio and a video editing suite. With the help of shutter glasses, stereo projection and a VR mouse, you can dive into virtual worlds that you have constructed yourself: All in all, a large (and very expensive) playground on which you can try out and experience the latest technologies live.
