Links and embedded videos are preserved as part of the historical record. With the new ForceWare 91.45 graphics driver, which supports Nvidia’s Quad SLI technology, hardcore gamers can now build their own PC with four graphics processors for extremely high-resolution gaming for the first time. With Nvidia’s SLI technology, users can employ multiple Nvidia graphics solutions in a single system with an nForce SLI MCP-based motherboard. This makes it possible to use two GeForce 7950 GX2 graphics cards with four graphics processors in parallel. Games thus run at XHD resolutions of up to 2,560 x 1,600 pixels, super-smooth frame rates and very good image quality.

The following components can be combined to put together the ultimate gaming system:

  • ForceWare 91.3x graphics driver

  • two SLI-capable Geforce 7950 GX2 graphics cards from Nvidia

  • nForce 4 SLI X16- or nForce 590/570 SLI-based motherboard

  • AMD Athlon FX-62 or Intel Core 2 Duo processor
