Nvidia has presented another graphics card for the high-end sector. The target group is users who have only one PCI Express slot available but still want to work with two graphics cards.

The Quadro FX 4500 X2 consists, as it were, of a normal Quadro FX 4500 on which another Quadro FX 4500 is mounted. Although the card occupies two slots in total, it uses only one PCI Express slot.

The dual card offers four dual-link DVI outputs. With the appropriate driver setting, however, the computing capacity of both GPUs can be used for a single output.

The performance data corresponds to that of the Quadro FX 4500, except that the performance is present twice here.

The card is available immediately; prices can be requested from the reseller.
